Formula Detail

The formula detail screen can be accessed by pressing more while adding or editing a formula. The formula detail screen contains data about many of the most important nutrients for enteral patients. Pressing save will save changes to the database. Pressing cancel will return to the formula add/edit screen.

The formula detail screen contains the following fields:

  • Carbohydrate (g/L) – Grams of carbohydrates per liter of formula.

  • Fat (g/L) – Fat grams per liter.

    •  
  • Free H2O (%) – Percent of free water delivered by this formula.

    •  
  • Sodium (mg) – Milligrams of sodium per liter.

    •  
  • Sodium mEq/L – Sodium milliequivalents per liter.
  • Potassium (mg) – Milligrams of potassium per liter.
  • Potassium mEq/L – Potassium milliequivalents per liter.
  • Calcium (mg/L) – Milligrams of calcium per liter.
  • PO4(mg/L) – Milligrams of phosphate ion per liter.
  • Magnesium (mg/L) – Milligrams of magnesium per liter.
  • Zinc (mg/L) – Milligrams of zinc per liter.
  • Vol. For 100% RDA – Volume of selected formula for 100% of the recommended daily allowance.
