System Requirements

Before installing EnteralCalc™ please ensure that your Palm OS device meets or exceeds the following system requirements. For installation you should ensure that your PC or Apple Macintosh also meet the following minimum requirements.

Minimum Palm Device Requirements –

  • 2MB Palm OS device.

  • 200KB available RAM.

  • A Palm OS 3.5 based personal digital assistant (PDA).
     
  • Infrared equipped device for printing and beaming of patient data.

 

Minimum Printer Requirements -

  • To print patient information from you Palm OS device you must have a HP compatible infrared equipped printer.


Minimum PC Requirements (for PDA installation) –

  • Pentium class PC with Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, ME, NT 4.0, XP.
     
  • 2MB free hard drive space.
     
  • 32 MB RAM.
     
  • CD-ROM drive.
     
  • USB or Serial port for use with PDA HotSync cradle.
     
  • Palm Desktop and Palm HotSync Manager version 4.0.1.

 

Minimum Macintosh Requirements (for PDA installation) –

  • Macintosh OS 9.
     
  • 2MB free hard drive space.
     
  • 32 MB RAM.
     
  • CD-ROM drive.
     
  • USB or Serial port for use with PDA HotSync cradle.
     
  • Palm Desktop and Palm HotSync Manager version 2.6.
